[VIDEO] Archery on Target with Girls
With Hollywood and the Olympics, archery is gaining ground with young athletes.
No doubt anyone who knows "The Hunger Games" is now familiar with archery. The sport made famous by Robin Hood and now Katniss Everdeen is grabbing the country by storm, with more young girls now participating in the sport. According to NBC, archery was the highest rated Olympic sport on cable this summer, even beating basketball. And this growth can be seen right here in Lancaster County.
At Lancaster Archery Supply, they have seen more people sign up for their Junior Olympic team, and the store has even joined in on "The Hunger Games'" fever, selling a District and a Capitol bow.
Check out the video for more on the latest sport sweeping the nation, including interviews with a couple of archers, that may just have the odds in their favor.

[VIDEO] HSGN Preseason: Cocalico
The Eagles return a bulk of their team from last year, including all of their stellar backfield. The goal is to take that next step this season, and they look to have the talent to do so.
[VIDEO] HSGN Preseason: Ephrata
Head coach Scott Shelley takes over the Ephrata football program this year, and it's all about building the program from the ground up. There are no starters returning from the offense, so it truly is a clean slate for the Mounts as they begin to turn things around.
[VIDEO] HSGN Preseason: Manheim Central
Manheim Central returns a strong nucleus of players from last year, when the Barons went 8-3. Last year's offensive juggernaut Caleb Walton is gone, but Colin Fry takes over at QB and looks to energize the offense. A strong front 7 anchors the defense, and things are shaping up to be yet another successful season in Manheim.
