First the L-L League championship, and now the District 3 championship; 2012 will be one for the ages for the Ephrata boys lacrosse team.
The Mounts topped Carlisle 6-2 on Thursday at Hersheypark Stadium to claim the District 3 boys' lacrosse championship. This is the first time since 1991 an Ephrata boys team brings back district gold.
This makes it three straight wins for the L-L in districts - Hempfield and Manheim Township taking the first two, and Ephrata claiming the third.
The boys return to action next Wednesday, when the Mounts begin their campaign for a state title.
You can find highlights of the big win, along with interview with Brian Neff, Joey Sellers, and Coach Kevin Pletz after the jump.
