Cocalico's Kam Mueller and Warwick's Tom Devenney are the "Athletes of the Week" after qualifying for States.

District 3 wrestling dominated this past weekend's headlines, with local mat men having exceptional runs through their brackets. Cocalico's Kam Mueller and Warwick's Tom Devenney, both headed to the PIAA state tournament.

Mueller earning runner-up honors at 182 pounds, his signature win an upset over previously undefeated Dylan Hickernell in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, in the heavyweight bracket, Tom Devenney wrestling back through consolations to finish in 3rd place and claim that last precious spot in the state tourney.


Both Devenney and Mueller will hit the mats for the state tournament on March 8th at Hershey.
