Four Central Football Players Die in Car Accident

Four Manheim Central students, all of them members of the football team, died today after a car accident around noon.

Sophomore Nicholas Bryson, junior John Griffith, sophomore Cody Hollinger and freshman DeVaughn Lee.

Lee also played varsity basketball for the Barons.

According to police reports, the four were driving in South Londonderry Township on Mount Wilson road when their vehicle slid sideways and was struck an oncoming vehicle.

Police said three of the teens were pronounced dead at the scene while the driver died later at Hershey Medical Center.

The driver and a passenger in the other vehicle were taken to Hershey Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition Sunday evening.
