Buckskins will battle for District return without Kevin Kelley.
2009 Recap: Tom Nichols took over a 1-9 Conestoga Valley team and in one season turned them into a force to be reckoned with in Section 2. The Buckskins finished 7-5 (4-3 in Section 2), losing to West York in the second round of Districts on a two point conversion in double overtime.
2010 Outlook: The Buckskins are without offensive leader Kevin Kelley but do return two stalwarts on the line. Seniors Travis Switzer and Cole Dillman will continue to pave wide lanes as CV tries to contend for a Section title.
Key Player Lost: Kevin Kelley shattered the L-L League rushing record with 2,327 yards. Enough said.
Key Returner: Senior quarterback Alex Dienner enters his third year leading the Buckskin offense. He is an efficient passer and an effective rusher. That sort of experience is invaluable.
Game on Cable-11: October 15 at Manheim Central.
Quotable: Switzer and Nichols discuss how they will replace Kelley...
